Dear Students,

This is just a reminder that we voted and decided to postpone the due date for your Ancient Greece and Rome projects from Friday, December 14 to Thursday, December 20 at 8AM.  Ancient Greece and Rome Day is now on Thursday, January 10.  All project items are to be turned in on a jump drive (data stick) on Thursday, December 20 at 8AM.  Please refer to your project guidelines sheet or the class website for any details about what is due on Thursday.

OTHER REMINDERS:

Remember that the second propaganda activity (audio or video) about a middle school related issue or policy is due this Friday.

The Kilowatt-Ours website printout along with yellow sheet pages 4-5 from your house energy assessment is due Friday.  The website is http://hes.lbl.gov/.

Decisions about your NHD project will need to be made by next Thursday, December 20.  These decisions include if you are going to work alone or with a partner, your ideas on a topic related to the theme "Conflict and Compromise" and the kind of project you plan to do (research paper, display, documentary, performance, or website.)  Each Friday in January is NHD "check-in" day.  The NHD project is due January 31.

Science fair projects are due on January 9.  A log book check will occur Wednesday.  As we have discussed in class, any student that would like extra individualized help with his or her project, is to let Mr. P know via e-mail at james.parons@mnps.org. 

Daily Math, Free Rice vocabulary, Reading Log, and a Personal Journal check are Monday.
