Is there life on other planets?
Plants or microscopic life. Probably not, since we havenÕt found them yet. Planets are spread out, not lined up perfectly. Take a long time before we reach other planets. Life maybe couldnÕt happen because of temperature, or maybe would adapt to temperatures. Outside of solar system we wouldnÕt know. Most people say there could be life. Maybe bacteria.
Conditions necessary for life
Solid surface, not gas, liquid, lava, etc. Solid- terrestrial planets. Gas, or non-solid- jovian planets. Food, water, natural resources, ways to
breath. Probably will eat other
life. Climate and weather so food
can live. Atmosphere; needs clear gasses so can feel the sun. Maybe life doesnÕt need the same stuff
we need. We need- oxygen, water,
carbon dioxide, other organisms, gravity but not too much. We picked a day because thatÕs how long
it takes Earth to turn all the way around. A day in Venus is 240 days in Earth, because Venus spins
slower. On Pluto you would live to
be about one Pluto year.
